CSS working on IE 9 but not on Chrome or Safari

Is there a possibility that the same CSS would function differently on IE 9 than in Chrome or Safari?

To view what I mean, logon to COB Showcase [url deleted] and click on Head. In IE 9 you can view the work items but not in Safari/Chrome.
The CSS file I have used in Template Main is AQU_Global.css. This is the same file as on the mobile showcase.

Any ideas anyone?

IE, Chrome, Safari, etc. all supports CSS in slight different ways.

This means:

incomplete and unsupported CSS attributes
different interpretations/behaviors of CSS attributes

For e.g. this is a CSS3 comparison table for different browsers http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_browsersupport.asp

Javascript allows you to fake an unsupported CSS attributes or get equivalents CSS interpretation between different browsers e.g., using jQuery ( http://api.jquery.com/css/ ) .
BUT, the Best Practice in Appway is to avoid usages of Javascript or in the worst case reduce it to the strict minimum.

Unfortunately, I was not able to login into the showcase. Can you provide more information?
