Appway automatically inserts spacer images between screen elements. How can I get rid of those? Is there any way to disable them?

There are several ways to do this.
1. Global
You can change the value of the configuration property "nm.workspace.layout.spacing". The default value is "5". If you set it to "0", Appway does not add extra space between components.
2. Local within a Container Component
Some container components like "Cell" or "Frame" support a hidden feature: Select the component and switch to the "Style" tab. Now enter a new style with name "spacing" and a integer as value to override the default spacing for child components within this container. Please note that this has an effect only on the immediate child components, not on other components nested within child components.
3. Local between two Components
If you add a "Space" component between to other screen components, the height (or width) defined by this Space component overrides the default space between these two components. So if the default space is "5" for "5 pixels" and you add a Space component with a height of "10" between two components, these two components now will have a distance of 10 pixels. If you set the height of the Space component to "0", Appway does not add any space at all between the two components.

Hi Stephan, I have a question with regards to point 3. above. I am using a Space component inside a Flow Layout because I would like a list to be indented (space on the width) however this automatically adds also space in height even if I set the height property to 0. Any idea on how to prevent that, or what the issue could be? I have also tried to add a space with both height and width set to 0 between the Flow Layout and the previous component but this as well did not work.

Hi Nina,
Which version of Appway are you working with? I just tested with Appway 5.3.11-dev and it seems to work as expected:
Can you share a screenshot of how it looks on your installation?

Hi Stephan,
I am working with Appway 5.3.7. Screenshot below on how it looks with and without space (hope this is understandable).
