I somehow cannot find a documentation of the VersionFilter type, its different types/features and how they influence Appway, its serialization format, how to create instances etc.
Does this exist? If not, could you please provide me with it? Thanks.

Hi Biörn, there's some basic information here:
Ch 4: Versions and the Workspace
... but I guess this isn't detailed enough?
