With the introduction of Appway 6, the Appway platform can now be run as a cluster. This means Appway can be installed on multiple servers, that together form a distributed system. Almost all services in Appway 6 work in a distributed fashion, either using an inherently distributed state (e.g. distributed maps), or by keeping their state synchronized over all cluster nodes (e.g. using distributed messages or distributed tasks).
Advanced Administrator training has been extended to cover the new features and functionality introduced in Appway 6. Now taking place over two days, the course covers cluster capabilities, and goes into greater depth regarding incident management and issue handling. The course provides you with the skills necessary to install, configure, administer, deploy and maintain the Appway Platform.
The next sessions are scheduled to run in Chiasso on 16–17 September, and 20–21 October.
For more information and to register, see the training invitation.
