It is a small bugfix release with 21 bugfixes, 5 changes and 2 features.
Here's a roundup of the most important items in this release:
- If Appway fails to load or start a plug-in extension on startup, the complete startup procedure is aborted. This prevents Appway from running without a connection to the cluster storage in case the plug-in extension "RelationalDbHazelcastStore" or "CassandraHazelcastStore" could not be started.
- The workspace no longer shows a JavaScript error message if a page submit is triggered while an Ajax update request is in progress.
- The configuration property "nm.diskspace.enabled" (default value "true") can be used to disable all Appway components which collect information about total, used or free disk space. This may solve performance issues on installations where the data home is located on a slow network drive.
- If an HTTP request or background job modifies more than two process instances without committing them individually, a warning will be written to the log. This may help to identify locations where process instances are handled by batch operations in a way that could impact stability and performance of the installation.
No special actions are required when upgrading from Appway 6.1.6 to 6.1.7.
