A new patch release for Appway 5.3 is available: 5.3.13
This patch release contains 12 bugfixes and two changes. The main areas covered by this release relate to PDF Output Tables, security, and HTML screen rendering.
One group of changes covers improvements to the rendering of PDF Output Tables:
A second group covers security issues:
An important fix has been made in the HTML screen rendering logic. Because of a race condition between the rendering code of the template screen component and value store persistence, it was possible that scopes and variables for process tokens on screen tasks were lost.
This problem is more likely to occur if you have slow screens. If you get random "Variable $x is not defined" error messages in the Workspace which can be solved by restarting the process token, you should consider upgrading to this new release.

- Integration of OWASP ESAPI library
- Improved WebSphere compatibility
