The product team are happy to announce the release of Appway 6.2.9. This patch contains eight bugfixes, and five new features.

Information about the Dropdown List
Please note that starting with Appway 6.2, non-searchable Dropdown List components created with Appway 5.3, 6.0 or 6.1 suddenly became searchable. This bug has been fixed in this release, restoring the original behavior: if a Dropdown List was not searchable in Appway 5.3, 6.0 or 6.1, it is now also not searchable in Appway 6.2.9.
Customers relying on the new behavior of Appway 6.2 to 6.2.8 may set the configuration property "nm.dropdown.searchable.default" to "true" to keep the current behavior.
This change has an effect only on non-searchable Dropdown Lists added to screens with Appway 5.3, 6.0 or 6.1. It does not affect searchable Dropdown Lists (created with any version of Appway), or non-searchable Dropdown Lists created with Appway 6.2 or newer.

- Process Message Indexing: Improve the performance of the process engine when making heavy usage of process messages.
- Dropdown List: Correctly handle the "searchable" property of Dropdown List screen components created with Appway 5.3, 6.0 or 6.1.
