We have been working hard on upgrading our support and interaction space for Appway users. We've built a new solution for the Appway Community, over at community.appway.com. Have you explored it yet?
A clean UI, improved performance, and more information and communication about our products are three examples of how we're bringing the platform to the next level. As the transition from developer.appway.com to the Community site continues over the course of 2017, we're taking the opportunity to share an update on the progress made so far.
The new Community platform is a collaborative effort between the Customer Success, Product, and Professional Services teams at Appway. A small dedicated team of developers work in two-week sprints to bring new features, refine existing functionality, and incrementally add value for you, our users. Deployments take place approximately every month, and you can follow what we've been up to in our Community Release Notes.
We would also love to get your feedback on what you think! Send any ideas or comments to community@appway.com
Support News

Have you seen our Support News section on Community? Support News is our channel dedicated to release notes and communications specifically related to support. Stay up to date with news on Appway 7 – we posted about Feature Removal and Deprecation Planned with Appway 7.0 earlier last month – as well as the latest patch releases.
Coming soon, you'll be able to get Support News updates delivered directly to your inbox. You can already subscribe by going to your profile settings, and checking the box for Support News. If you decide these updates are not for you, you can always unsubscribe at a later date.
Knowledge Base

A large part of the migration to Community involves improvements to our Knowledge Base, the home of our product documentation and content. So far, we've updated the UI for better readability, tried to minimize the use of pesky HTML tables (we can't get rid of them all!), corrected typos, and worked on improved navigation. We believe that these changes will allow you to help you find the topics and materials you need even faster.
We took the decision to only migrate content for Appway 6.3 and above. If you're using Appway version 6.2 or lower, developer.appway.com will remain your go-to source for technical Appway content.
Support Integration with JIRA

Our Support Ticketing system was one of the first sections to be upgraded and migrated to Community. We’ve streamlined the design, built in more tools for organization and tracking, and aimed to improve process transparency. Listening to feedback provided internally, we found that a repeated "ask" was for integrating our Support Tickets with JIRA (which our Product team uses to track development). So last sprint, the team implemented this functionality – and thanks to the positive response at the sprint review, it should be deployed to production soon. We think it's a step in the right direction in improving transparency between the Product team and users submitting tickets.
We hope that our efforts really improve your overall experience with the Appway Community. As always, we really appreciate your feedback and comments as they help steer our efforts towards building a platform that serves you best. Reach out to community@appway.com with any thoughts, suggestions or questions you may have!
