There is a wealth of content just waiting to be discovered on Appway Developer — from video tutorials guiding you through basic adaptive screen design to recipes created by members of the Appway community, there's something for everyone. Beginner or expert, designer or developer: We're here to help.
The Get Started page contains a collection of documents, articles, recipes and videos providing you with a comprehensive introduction to the basics of developing with Appway.
The Documentation tab is where you can find a vast amount of information about the different parts of the Appway platform — all of which can easily be filtered by version or topic using the menus on the left side of the pages.
Our video tutorials provide step-by-step explanations and guidance for various product features, letting you learn at your own pace. On the right of the tutorial page is a menu: From our CTO explaining the concepts behind the Appway platform, to introducing data class functions, these suggested videos provide an easily-accessible way to start your journey with Appway.
Looking for inspiration or wondering how to use a component to achieve something? Take a look at the recipes in the Developer Cookbook. Written in a problem-solution style, recipes cover everything from working with buttons, to naming conventions, to data initialization. You can also filter by topic, using the clickable menu on the left of the Cookbook homepage.
If you're unsure of how something works, want to know the suggested best practice for achieving a task or have any Appway-related question whatsoever, post it in our Forum. We're here to help!

Developer is transitioning to Appway Community
The next step in the transition to community.appway.com is here! As of April 2017, the Community Blog is exclusively available via community.appway.com. The Blog joins the Forum and our Support system, which already moved to their new home in 2016.
Our written material (recipes and documentation) is currently being migrated, and is available in beta on community.appway.com at Support > Knowledge Base.
All information for Appway 6.3 and below is still available here on developer.appway.com while this migration takes place.
Note: Material relevant for Appway 7 will only be available in the Knowledge Base on community.appway.com
